The decisive guilty verdict in the Derek Chauvin trial is one step toward accountability, though the simple fact is that George Floyd’s murder at the hands of law enforcement should have never happened. There is difficult, necessary work to be done as we reckon with, face, and dismantle systemic racism in the U.S. The journey toward healing is long. But without it, we will never be a nation that is truly free, fair, and equitable.
We stand in solidarity with those on that journey and are committed to our continued evolution in support of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice.
