Driven by the values of transparency and accountability, Pierre and Pam Omidyar annually disclose their personal contributions to organizations that might influence, impact, or directly intersect with fundamental matters of democracy and public policy in the United States.
In 2022, the Omidyars made personal contributions to several 501(c)4 organizations. As in previous years, this giving was directed largely toward defending and advancing the essential foundations of a healthy and inclusive American democracy. This includes supporting efforts to increase government transparency, accountability, and responsiveness, and to ensure that U.S. democracy is accessible to all —particularly those who have been historically underrepresented and willfully excluded. Additional contributions range from supporting causes related to quality of life in their home State of Hawaii, to addressing complex issues of human rights, dignity, exploitation, and suffering for people around the world.
Please see the list immediately below for The Omidyars’ 2022 501(c)(4) contributions. An archive of previous disclosures can be found here.
